Halo: Flashpoint players will begin their journey in the War Games combat arena, bringing a range of classic Halo game modes, troop types, and weapons to life on the tabletop.  Get ready to discover an exciting game that's easy to learn, challenging to master, and rewards cool thinking under fire!

Mantic Games have created a compelling and fast-paced miniatures game that can be played within minutes of opening the box, allowing all fans to jump into the genre with ease.  Miniatures are pre-assembled and pre-colored to show their teams, and the slot-together terrain and arena mat come detailed with stunning full-color artwork.

On the theme of welcoming all players to this new system, the game is launching with a choice of starter sets: the RECON EDITION and the SPARTAN EDITION.

The RECON EDITION is a traditional starter box, and comes complete with a pair of four-strong fireteams of UNSC Spartans, ready to do battle in the War Games arena!  They'll be fighting over a set of easy-assembly terrain and a full-color play mat.  The game also comes with a full rulebook, and all the dice, tokens, and cards you'll need to bring classic game modes like Slayer, Oddball, and Capture The Flag to life on your tabletop!

The SPARTAN EDITION ups the ante, and is the set of choice for serious miniature game and Halo fans!  Now both players have 8 Spartans to choose from each, all with different weapon loadouts.  There's more terrain to fight over including a double-height tower, along with 3D plastic arena accessories, and a double-sided folding arena board.  And last but not least, a second faction enters the game – with a 4-strong lance of Banished Elites and their exotic weaponry ready to oppose the human super-soldiers.

These two fully-featured starter boxes are accompanied at launch by a dice booster, and a deluxe terrain box that allows gamers to imagine and create their very own Halo buildings out of modular hard plastic pieces.

Mantic Games has also partnered up with The Army Painter to launch a collaborative Paint Set, featuring colors from the high quality Warpaints Fanatic series, and an early opportunity for players to get their hands on Master Chief himself – fully playable in games of Halo: Flashpoint.

With a Q4 launch, the game is expected to be a hot-ticket item for the winter holiday season and with ambitious plans for an evolving game, new factions, and organized play, retailers and gamers alike can look forward to a bright future for Halo: Flashpoint!
