Marvel Studios' juggernaut, Avengers: Endgame, topped the charts for a third straight weekend, but it scored only a narrow victory over Warner Bros.' live-action hybrid Detective Pikachu, which set a new domestic record for a video game adaptation with a $58 million opening weekend.

Avengers: Endgame dropped 59.2% from its record-breaking $357.1 million opening weekend as it earned an estimated $145.8 million in its second frame, giving it $620 million here in North America (and $2.2 billion worldwide) in just ten days of release.
Collectible Games Decline, Especially at Mass, Pulls Down Category
