The Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection set (Amazon Exclusive For Marvel 'Phase Two' Box Set”) will include a featurette about what fans can expect to see from “Phase 3” films including Doctor Strange. In a clip from the featurette (which can be viewed at USAToday.com), director Scott Derrickson refers to the movie as “a mind-trip action film” and shared concept art that includes Benedict Cumberbatch donning the iconic red cape.

Pop star Rihanna was recently cast in an undisclosed role for the film (see “Rihanna Cast in Intergalactic Space Opera”). The film is scheduled to open on November 3, 2017.
Thor: Ragnarok has a new screenwriter, according to THR. Stephaney Folsom is now working on a script which was previously penned by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle (see “Marvel Starts on 'Thor 3'”). The film is due in theaters on July 28, 2017.
