The New York Comic Con has announced that Stan Lee, the father of the Marvel Universe and co-creator of Spider-Man, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer, and the Incredible Hulk, will be a Guest of Honor where he will appear on several panels as well as receive the first ever New York Comics Legend Award at a special VIP party at the Virgin Megastore on Times Square. 

The New York Comic Con has created the New York Comic Legends Award to honor New York City's greatest contributors to the world of comic books.  The presentation of the first ever New York Comics Legend award will take place on Thursday, April 17th at 8 pm at the Virgin Megastore.  A limited number of tickets will be made available to fans starting on March 28th via the New York Comic Con Website.
