Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army has generated a lot of buzz and a bunch of great reviews (89% positive on Rotten Tomatoes).  The film, which is based on the comic book series by Mike Mignola, opens this weekend and has already boosted sales of Hellboy graphic novels.  While Hollywood Collectibles has announced some very pricey prop replica swords (MSRP $279.95, see “Hellboy II Weapon Replicas”), the company is also planning to release six 8-inch tall Hellboy II Bobble Head Figures, which will retail for $14.99 and will be available this fall.

 

Hollywood Collectibles has created the six highly-detailed Hellboy II Bobble Heads out of resin, and would like fans to think about them “not as novelty bobble heads, but as small statues with oversized heads!”  The figures in this series of bobble heads include Hellboy, Abe Sapien, Wink, Prince Nuada, Johann Kraus, and the Angel of Death.
