Papercutz is continuing is Classic Illustrated Deluxe series in December with a graphic novel adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by French artist Marion Mousse.  With its ample 144-page length, this full color volume, which will be available in both trade paperback ($13.95) and hardcover ($17.95) editions, may be the most complete graphic novel adaptation of Frankenstein yet produced.

The first volume in Papercutz’ Classic Illustrated Deluxe series, Michel Plessix’s 144-page adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows has received rave notices (see “Classics Illustrated Celebrated in Newsweek”) for its superb art and its faithfulness to the original source material.  Papercutz' Classic Illustrated Deluxe graphic novels are far more expansive in scope than the original Classic Illustrated comics from the 1940s and 1950s and can thus provide readers with much more of the flavor and richness of the prose works they are adapting.
