At the San Diego Comic-Con IDW announced the publication of a deluxe hardcover collecting the first Danger Girl mini-series that debuted from Wildstorm in March of 1998.  Created by J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell Danger Girl featured a trio of busty secret agents in a series of espionage adventures that can best be described as sort of a cross between Charlie’s Angels and James Bond.

IDW is collecting the first Danger Girl miniseries in an oversize hardcover edition that will include never-before-published extras.  The deluxe Danger Girl Hardcover is slated for release in the spring of 2010.

IDW is moving aggressively into digital distribution and in the coming weeks the first digital issue of Danger Girl will be available for purchase with subsequent issues available at regular intervals. To promote both the digital project and the spring hardcover IDW has made an eight-page preview of Danger Girl available as a free application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
