Triad Toys will release its first figure based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars novels in November.  The Dejah Thoris:  Princess of Mars 12 Inch Figure will retail for $99.99.  The figure will have over 25 points of articulation, magnetic feet, and full metal joints, with removable armors, including head guard, body armor, shoulder armors, wrist armors, leg guards and sandals.  The hand-painted ultra-realistic head features Saran hair.

Triad will sell an action figure stand separately. 

The John Carter of Mars movie, also based on the ERB novels, has been casting and will begin shooting early next year (see “John Carter Gets Three”).
