Smallville star Tom Welling revealed at an event on Wednesday and various other venues have confirmed (Variety and THR) that the show’s upcoming 10th season will be its last.  The show was just renewed in March (see “Smallville Renewed”).  With a firm end date, the show can now wind up with a special storyline and marketing push.
