Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that a Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Qualifier Tournament will be held in the greater
The Canadian World Championship Qualifier for 2010 will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The dates for the tournament will be June 26th and 27th, 2010. The winner of the tournament will be crowned “Canadian National Champion” and will win the opportunity to compete in the World Championship held in August, along with free travel to the finals and accommodations in Long Beach, California, “Super Rare” Championship Series Prize Cards, and a mini-video camera.
A variety of side events will also be held during the Qualifier, including events designed for players new to the game and for players of all ages. Many Yu-Gi-Oh! related prizes will be offered. Sunday, June 27th will also feature a 2011 Regional Qualifier Tournament.
Entry is free for players who have qualified through official KDE Regional Qualifiers, Shonen Jump Championship, or Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship events.
