Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, Image Comics, and Heidi MacDonald’s The Beat are hosting a party to kick off New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 7th.  The party celebrates the premiere of the CBLDF benefit comic Liberty Annual 2010.

Donations of $10 or more get attendees a gift bag full of goodies from Image and the Fund; donations of $30 and $50 get attendees open bar wristbands. 

The party will be held on Thursday, October 7th from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Village Pourhouse at 366 W. 46th St.
