Comic stores are normally thought of as places where pop culture products are sold, but in two new series, they’re the settings for stories firmly planted in geek culture.

Anti-Matter is a workplace comedy Web series available on YouTube.  Written and directed by Chris Walker, it’s shot at Jim Hanley’s universe in New York City and features a cast from comedy troupe Upright Citizen’s Brigade, including Justin Tyler of Comic Club Live.  New episodes are available bi-weekly.

Dealers, a new comic at the Webcomic Factory, explores the world of toy collecting in the late 90s.  The story is created by Christian Beranek, who was a toy dealer living in the Chicago area in that era, and Tony DiGerolamo, who used to run a comic book store.  Art is by Italian illustrator Nicholas Raimo.

The series started with full week of daily strips and will update on Mondays from now on.
