IDW Publishing has announced the return of its preeminent horror series 30 Days of Night. Created by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith in 2002, the vampire saga set in the endless arctic night has inspired two feature films. In May award-winning horror writer Joe R. Lansdale (Bubba Ho-Tep) is bringing the series back with 30 Days of Night: Night, Again, a four-issue series with art by Sam Keith (Sandman).

The action in the new series shifts to a science facility in the Alaskan wilds where survivors of the vampire infestation take refuge. The scientists at the facility are trying to determine the nature of a strange object found in the ice. Is it related to the outbreak of vampirism?

The 32-page full color 30 Days of Night: Night, Again ships in May with a cover price of $3.99.
