Digital products available through in-app purchases (the primary way comics are sold on the iOS platform) will now be included in search results on iTunes. The expansion of search in iTunes means that searches for comic properties, including those searches stimulated by movies, TV, or videogames, will now bring up the major digital comic-selling apps. This will expose more consumers to comic products than has been the case in the past, when only the app itself, not what was sold in it, came up in searches.

BOOM! Studios has announced a 12-issue comic book series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance that is based on a story by Jeffrey Addis and Will Mathews, who are writing the new Netflix prequel video series The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance.
