Mark Broy of Yesterday Once More in Morton, Illinois was strongly supportive of the plea for comics appropriate for young children by retailer Timothy Davis (see 'Timothy Davis of Alternate Reality on Comics for Kids'):

This is one of the best articles I have read in a long time and I could not agree more.  We really need to nurture a young readership if we expect to even have a comic industry in 20 to 30 years from now.  The news of Gemstone Publishing bringing back Disney Comics is promising and a good start.  Now if we can convince Harvey Comics for a revival we will be heading in the right direction.
