Comic Book Legal Defense Fund announced that it raised over $82,000 in its Be Counted fundraising campaign. Executive Director Charles Brownstein thanked contributors, professionals that donated time and talent, volunteers, and organizations and companies that participated, while drawing attention to the cause.
“The fight to protect free speech doesn’t end,” he said. “We have a lot of work ahead, and the cost of doing it isn’t getting any lower. But right now, we’re grateful for the outpouring of support we received. It will help us as we forge ahead to take on the threats ot this medium we all care so much about.”
