Hermes Press will release The Best of Dark Shadows, a paperback omnibus of the best Gold Key Dark Shadows stories, on April 10, 2012.  It’s slated as a 336-page volume for $49.99. 

Hermes has been collecting the Dark Shadows comics in five hardcover volumes beginning in 2009 (see “The Complete ‘Dark Shadows’ Comics”).  The third is releasing this month; the fourth is releasing in February, and the fifth in May. 

The film started shooting in September (see “'Dark Shadows' Cast Photo”); it will release May 11, 2012.
