Dynamite Entertainment will launch a Bionic Woman comic series in March, joining the company’s Bionic Man series (written by Kevin Smith), which launched last August.  The Bionic Woman series will be written by Paul Tobin (Marvel Adventures, Oni’s Banana Sunday), with art by Leno Carvalho and a cover by Paul Renaud.

The Bionic Woman TV series ran from 1976 to 1978 as a spin-off of the Six Million Dollar Man series.  It was also in development from NBC Universal and briefly aired on NBC, but did not complete its first season after production was shut down due to the writer’s strike (see “Bionic Woman Shuts Down”).
