Konami has announced a February 21st release date for the up-coming Ra Yellow Mega-Packs for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.  Like the earlier Legendary Collection 2 mega-packs, each booster pack will include at least one card from each rarity category: Secret Rare, Ultra Rare, Super Rare, and Rare.

 

A number of popular cards will be presented in a foil format for the first time in this set, including the original Six Samurai, Crystal Beasts, and the H-E-R-O Flash cards.  Popular common cards from the Legendary Collection 2 are also included, such as “Thunder King Rai-Oh,” “Gateway of the Six,” “Judgment Dragon,” and “Elemental HERO Stratos.”

 

Each Ra Yellow Mega-Pack will include 11 cards from a total set of 113 different cards from The Duel Academy Years.  The total set includes 55 Common, 16 Ultra Rare, 14 Super Rare, 11 Rare, and 17 Secret Rare cards.  The suggested retail price for each booster will be $4.99.

 

The new release will be supported by the on-going Saturday morning cartoon series Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal and re-run episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! on TheCW4Kids network.
