Top Cow has announced that it is launching an animation division this August with 'animation-style' comics and toys. At this point, the new division seems to be about 'animation-style' products; no animation production has been announced. The Palisades toys will include three 4.5' figures in the first series: Sara Pezzini, The Darkness, Magdalena, plus a Sara Pezzini in Overcoat figure that will be a Wizard/Toy Fare exclusive. The toys will be blister-carded and carry a MSRP of $10.
The comic will be Witchblade Animated, written by Paul Dini, with art by David Bullock, Darwyn Cooke, and J. Bone, and released in early August at a launch event at Wizard World Chicago.
