LEGO has announced that Bionicles: Mask of Light, the Movie, a CGI feature from Miramax/Buena Vista Home Entertainment, will be released on DVD and VHS in September. The premiere of the trailer was dubbed a 'Toy Fair highlight' by Video Business. The movie depicts the quest for the Mask of Light and the search for the seventh Toa, and will include a major role for the Rahkshi, a new group of characters that will be introduced as toys in July at $8.99 MSRPs. Following the OVA, a major CGI movie is being readied for theatrical release from Miramax in 2005.
