Marvel Comics has released J. Scott Campbell’s variant cover for Nova #2 and it is apparent both from the cover and from some interior art by Ed McGuinness that the 15-year-old Sam Alexander is in for some major surprises in the second issue of the new Marvel NOW! series written by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by McGuinness.  In particular he is about to meet the inimitable Rocket Raccoon as well as the shapely green alien Gamora.

 

The 32-page Nova #2 is Rated "T" and has a cover price of $3.99.  The second issue of the ongoing saga of the Nova Corp’s newest recruit is due in stores on March 20th.
