Ape Entertainment will launch a three issue Genie the Genius miniseries, featuring a character by NFL great Boomer Esiason and longtime comic creator Darren Sanchez for After Hours Press, on August 7th. 

Genie the Genius, which has its roots in a character created by Esiason and Lee Becker for the Boomer Esiason Foundation, is an inspirational character to help kids and parents better understand medical conditions that may affect them.   Esiason’s foundation raises money to support research on cystic fibrosis and to support the cystic fibrosis community.

In the story, Genie the Genius takes his kid on adventures to help him learn things for himself.
