Comic-Con News: Having garnered three Emmy nominations for the first Robot Chicken DC Comics Special, Seth Green and company are hard at work on a sequel, the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise that will be shown on the Cartoon Network during the 2013-2014 season and teased at Comic-Con today.
Green and his cohorts managed to create a storyline in the first DC Comics Special that made Aquaman the hero, and for their second effort the Robot Chicken brain trust has come up with a narrative with a Romeo & Juliet twist--a Montague/Capulet romance between Lex Luthor’s daughter and Superboy, the hot teen clone of Superman.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Green will reveal more details about the second Robot Chicken DC Comics Special at today’s Robot Chicken panel at Comic-Con. One things fans can be assured of, Green told EW, is another "show stopping musical number."
