The Yu-Gi-Oh! 2014 Regional Qualifiers, Dragon Duel and Battle Pack Sealed Tournaments were busy on Saturday in the Wabash room.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ATTACK OF THE GIANT CARD!  Allowed players and Konami volunteers to engage in a bigger than life size game of Yu-Gi-Oh! with 3 ft. tall cards and a playmat you have to walk across to play!

The crowd outside the exhibit hall on Saturday was extreme.

The Gen Con adage goes: Eat. Sleep. Game. -- Pick 2!  And if attendees chose to eat, they could make it a Gen Con experience.

There were at least three local restaurants that catered to the Gen Con crowd, as well as the ever-popular Food Truck Alliance.

The Ram Restaurant and Brewery was well known as the "unofficial" Privateer Press hangout for many years (since 2006), and for the past four years, the relationship has been official.  They've been doing a Gen Con beer for seven or eight years.  Privateer Press banners decorated the entire restaurant, advertising WarMachine, Hordes, and other products.

Why not start out with Thamar's Teeth as your appetizer?  Then have a Nexus of Cyriss Salad and a WraithWitch Sandwich.  Finish with the Dark Convergence cake.  Wash it all down with this year’s official beer:  Woldwrath's Omnipotent Ale.

Noodles & Company on Maryland Street goes all-out to cater to the Gen Con crowd.  Not only do they have special hours (they stay open until 3 am!) and let the staff dress up, they had window paintings, a TARDIS door, and this brass pipe display that they raffled off to a lucky customer.

This was also the second year the Indy Food Truck Alliance officially took over streets around the convention center to provide dining options for con-goers.

And we didn't get there, but the Munchkin Tavern, aka Tavern on South, is the official Steve Jackson Games Munchkin themed eatery.  They host special dinner guests and sell a variety of Munchkin/Gen Con exclusive items. This was also where they announced Munchkin: Adventure Time on Friday night (see "'Munchkin: Adventure Time'").

The next time we're looking for Waldo, we’ll know where to find him--buying dice.
