Only about a half a dozen dealer tables remain for this year's WonderCon, which will be held at the Oakland Convention Center from April 20 to April 22.  Dealers interested in snagging one of the few remaining booths should contact Mike Fredrich (510-644-1886).  WonderCon is Northern California's largest comic book and pop culture convention with an attendance that reached 8,000 over three days last year.  WonderCon is also the largest locally-owned convention produced by folks for whom comics is the primary source of income, which makes it something of an anomaly in these days when the major cons are increasingly dominated by show management companies.

Guests at this year's WonderCon include Julie Newmar (Cat Woman on the original Batman TV series), Geof Darrow (concept artist on the Matrix, co-creator of The Big Guy & Rusty the Robot), Corey Haim (star of Goonies and License to Drive), Michael Chabon (author of the best novel ever about comic creating, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay), Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows), Jim Warren (founder of Warren Publications), Sergio Aragones (Mad Magazine), and the highly underrated artist, Bill Morrison (Simpsons, Futurama, Roswell).
