VIZ Media is expanding its North American relaunch of Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma ½ by streaming the anime on Vizanime.com, Hulu, and later this fall on its game console channel Neon Alley. DVD, and for the first time Blu-ray, releases of the anime will follow next year.
The increased visibility of the anime should help support sales of the manga, which is being released in two-volume omnibuses in the Japanese right-to-left format beginning next March and releasing every two months thereafter (see "VIZ Media Adds R-to-L 'Ranma'").
