Wizard World will add seven cities to eight from 2013 for a total of 15 shows in its 2014 tour, the company announced. That represents the most shows ever for the company.
The new cities are:
Sacramanto
Louisville
Minneapolis
Atlanta
San Antonio
Richmond
Tulsa
The cities repeating from 2013 are:
Portland
New Orleans
St Louis
Philadelphia
Chicago
Nashville
Austin
Columbus
Regional comic conventions have been growing rapidly in recent years (see, for example, "6,000 Fans Turned Away from Denver Comic Convention"); Wizard is apparently ready to make a big bet, on mostly second tier markets, that the trend continues.
