New York Comic Con News:  IDW Publishing has announced that it will publish deluxe hardcover editions of the hardboiled Parker crime novels written by Richard Stark (pen name of Donald E. Westlake).  Darwyn Cooke, who has won several Eisner Awards for his graphic novel adaptations of the Parker novels, will design the first ever hardcover editions of the Parker books and also provide color illustrations for the text.
 
IDW plans on publishing the first Parker novel The Hunter in the first half of 2014, with the rest of the 25 Parker novels to follow in chronological order.
