Wizards of the Coast has announced a broad release date for the "Next" version of the Dungeons and Dragons rules:  Summer 2014.  We assume that means Gen Con.

WotC's two-year public playtest attracted 175,000 participants, and "The Sundering," a transmedia narrative, is leading into the launch (see "Exclusive Interview on 'D&D: The Sundering'").
