
Raina Telgemeier’s follow-up graphic novel to her hit
Smile is getting a 200,000 copy initial print run, according to the
Wall Street Journal.
Sisters is shipping in August (see "
'Sisters' by Raine Telgemeier & 'Amulet' #6"), supported by a tour with Telgemier and Kazu Kabuishi, whose sixth
Amulet volume streets on the same date.
Smile was an Eisner-winning (see "
2011 Eisner Award Winners") commercial success, with big sales through the trade, to libraries, and through book fairs. It now has over one million copies in print.
Both
Sisters and
Amulet Vol. 6 will street August 26.
