Natsume Maya, who does a great job of covering Japanese language anime and manga websites, reports that a new manga series based on the Evangelion computer game, Koutetsu Girlfriend 2, will start appearing in August in Kodakawa Shoten's shoujo manga magazine Asuka Monthly. American fans are familiar with Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's shonen (boys') Evangelion manga series that Viz published here in the U.S., but it may take some time to wrap your head around the concept of a shoujo (girls') Evangelion-based manga series.
