CrossGen has announced a Product Exchange Program, which will take effect July 1.  Each month CrossGen will designate a title or titles for which demand is high and offer copies in exchange for stripped covers of any CrossGen books on a 1 to 2 ratio.  If a retailer mails in 50 covers, he or she can receive 25 copies of the PEP title, or if the retailer only wants 5 copies of the PEP title, a credit for the other 20 copies will rollover to subsequent months.  All CrossGen titles are eligible to return on a 2 covers for one comic basis.  All retailers need to do is mail in the covers with a note explaining which PEP comics they want in return.

CrossGen Vice President of Sales Chris Oarr explained the program this way: 'We've set out to annihilate retailer risk by making our entire line exchangeable.  No limits.  No complicated rules.  Just an on-going commitment to stand behind the entire CrossGen line.'

Bulldog Collectibles will be administering the program for CrossGen. Retailers pay no shipping on the PEP comics that they receive in exchange for the stripped covers.  New PEP comics will be designated each month.  PEP exchanges will occur while supplies last, and retailers can roll over PEP credits if they have enough of the months' book.  Retailers should remember to include instructions with their stripped covers.  Any retailers whose orders are unfilled will receive a statement of their PEP credits, which can be applied in future months.

CrossGen's Product Exchange Program comics for July are:

Lady Death #2                         Sojourn #21

Lady Death #3                         Sojourn #22

Lady Death #4                         Sojourn #23

Lady Death #5                         Sojourn #24

Lady Death, which prominent retailer Brian Hibbs called 'that rare relaunch that improved on the original concept' and was recently named 'Book of the Month' by Wizard, is one of CrossGen's hottest books, while Sojourn starts a new story arc with a special dollar issue (#25) that should spur interest in recent back issues.
