Viz Communications has announced that Hana-Kimi will be exclusive to Waldenbooks from its initial release in February, 2004 through May.  Hana Kimi is one of two shoujo titles announced recently by Viz (see 'Viz Announces Two New Shoujo Manga For Spring of '04').  The other series, Angel Sanctuary, will be released to all channels beginning in March. 

 

Viz has previously granted Waldenbooks and Borders an exclusive on its Di Gi Charat series (see 'Viz Gives Borders/Waldens Di Gi Charat Exclusive').  Tokyopop gave Waldens an exclusive on its Chobits #8 Special Edition (see 'Manga, Anime Retailer Exclusives').
