According to Platinum Studios' Scott Rosenberg, Showtime will be airing another eight episodes of Jeremiah early next year. The network had originally planned to show all 16 episodes of the second season in '03 (see 'Jeremiah Renewed'), but stopped after eight. 'With other cablers turning to 8 episode seasons, Showtime seems to be following suit,' Rosenberg said. 'There was a huge fan campaign ignited by this, culminating in Showtime saying yes to the next eight.' The DVD release of the first season is due early next year.
