After almost a year of aggressive litigation, Marvel Enterprises and Sony Pictures have settled all of the pending litigation between the two companies related to Spider-Man.

Last Thursday, a joint statement was issued stating the two companies have 'amicably resolved their pending court disputes.'  Part of the agreement was that details would not be disclosed.

It all started when Marvel sued Sony (see 'More on Marvel-Sony Suit'), followed by Sony dealing Marvel a blow (see 'Judge Jolts Marvel'), then by another lawsuit from Marvel (see 'Marvel Ups the Ante'), before finally getting, thankfully, to the current resolution.
