Genio Cards will ship its new Marvel release, Spider-Man Wild Kingdom, in the fourth quarter of 2004.  Although the new Genio release does not feature standard CCG gameplay, the 121 new Spider-Man Wild Kingdom cards are crammed with fun-filled facts about animals of all kinds from spiders to hyenas.  The new series will be packaged like a typical CCG with starter decks (called 'Discovery Box), which contain 50 random cards as well as an exclusive Spider-Man Holo-Foil Card; and booster packs, which contain nine random cards and one foil card.

Unlike the educational, fact-filled Spider-Man Wild Kingdom cards, Genio's Mighty Beanz release is a typical collectible card game -- and reports are that it has been doing very well in the mass market where it has reached its young target demo of kids from 6-10.  In September Genio plans to release Mighty Beanz: Raiderz of the Lost Moon introducing new characters and new powers to its Mighty Beanz CCG.
