According to Reuters, Marvel sued Disney again last Friday, seeking to prevent Disney from assuming the copyrights to Marvel characters in connection with its 2001 acquisition of Fox Family Worldwide.  Marvel never consented to Disney assuming the licensing deals from Fox, according to the story.

Marvel says that it discovered the flaw in Disney's acquisition of Fox Family while researching its earlier suit against Disney, filed in July (see 'Marvel Sues Disney').   That suit sought $55 million in what Marvel said were underpayments for royalties for the Spider-Man, X-Men, and Incredible Hulk animated series.

Disney had no comment on the suit.
