Marvel Comics has announced the signing of penciller Mike McKone to a two-year exclusive contract, where he will work on his favorite title, The Fantastic Four. McKone has contributed to Punisher, Thor, Exiles, Spider-Man 2099, Incredible Hulk and, most recently, Teen Titans.
DC Comics has announced the signing of artist Frank Quitely to a two-year exclusive contract, to work on the twelve-issue maxi-series, All Star: Superman, with writer Grant Morrison. Quitely has done the art for The Sandman: Endless Nights, New X-Men, and the Vertigo mini-series WE3, which was also with Morrison.
