For the second time in the last few weeks (see 'Contract with God on the Must List'), Entertainment Weekly has included comics in book form on its 'Must List.'  Harvey Pekar's new Best of American Splendor is featured on the list in the February 11th issue.  EW's description of the book:  'A collection of his oddly fascinating comic strips that turn mundane occurrences into dramatic narratives.'

This latest Pekar volume is getting considerable press.  Pekar was extensively interviewed on Michael Feldman's Whad'ya Know radio show on January 15th.  The program is widely distributed on public radio stations throughout the U.S.  (Feldman tapped ICv2's own Milton Griepp, who was in the studio audience that day, to talk about manga on the program).
