Dynamite Entertainment has announced a series of retailer incentives for the new Army of Darkness #1: AOD vs. Re-Animator on-going series, which is listed in the May Previews (MAY052663) and will ship in July (see 'Army of Darkness Coming in July').  Dynamite has been developing a Re-Animator series (based like Army of Darkness on a cult horror film) and has put together a Re-Animator #0 issue, which will be given away to retailers as an incentive for ordering Army of Darkness #1: AOD vs. Re-Animator, written by Jim Kuhoric with art by Sanford Greene and Scott Kester.  Retailers can either sell the Re-Animator #0, which will have no printed cover price, or give it away.  The Re-Animator #0 is a stand-alone original story that leads into Dynamite's Re-Animator series.

For every 25 copies of the July-shipping Army of Darkness #1: AOD vs. Re-Animator comic ordered, retailers will receive 5 free Re-Animator #0's.  For every 50 copies of Army of Darkness #1: AOD vs. Re-Animator ordered (and received), retailers will get 15 free Re-Animator #0's, while ordering 100 will yield 35, and those retailers who order 200 copies of AOD #1 will get 75 Re-Animator #0's as well as one copy of the rare RRP JG Jones cover with spot colors.
