Dynamite Entertainment has announced a December mini-series that pits Red Sonja against the Lord of Snakes, Thulsa Doom.  Dynamite included a Thulsa Doom backup story in Red Sonja #2, but the real action begins in December with the Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom mini-series, written by Luke Lieberman and Peter David with art by Will Conrad (Serenity).  The conflict between Red Sonja and the evil sorcerer take place well before the events of the original Conan the Barbarian #23.

Individual issues of the Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom mini-series will contain 26 pages of story and art with cardstock covers and a cover price of $3.50.  Issue #1 will feature covers by Will Conrad and Gabrielle Dell'Otto (shipping in a 50/50 ratio) as well as a high-end foil edition (with a Conrad cover) and two incentive editions (for orders of 20 and 50 copies) with Dell'Otto covers.
