The third anniversary issue of Viz Media's Shonen Jump manga anthology is a 392-page behemoth that includes a 55-page preview of Hideaki Sorachi's Gin Tama, a retro science fiction series set in 19th Century Japan that is currently one of the most popular series in the Japanese edition of Shonen Jump.  The third anniversary/January issue of Shonen Jump also comes with the highly desirable 'Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon' Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card courtesy of Upper Deck Entertainment and Konami (see 'Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Card') as well as a special focus on Hunter X Hunter, a feature article on how the Naruto manga was transformed into an anime series, and a never-before-published drawing lesson by Yu-Gi-Oh! creator Kazuki Takahashi.

 

Launched in 2003, Viz's American edition of Shonen Jump now has 'a current monthly paid circulation rate of 180,000.'
