Dabel Brothers Productions has inked a deal to publish comic adaptations of Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake:  Vampire Hunter novels.  The first comic periodical, which begins the adaptation of the first novel, Anita Blake:  Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures, will be released in July.  The script adaptation will be by Stacie M. Ritchie. 

A graphic novel adaptation of the first novel, collecting the periodical material, will be published in two volumes in January and June of 2007. 

Guilty Pleasures, the first volume in the Anita Blake:  Vampire Hunter novels, was published in 1993.  The 14th volume in the series is to be published this summer.  The series has been called 'an R-Rated Buffy.'
