New details have been released on DK's comic encyclopedia for Marvel Comics (see 'ICv2 News - Marvel Comics Encyclopedia, Superman Titles').
The 352-page guide will cover all of Marvel's heroes and villains, going into full detail on their powers and busy careers.
Two versions of the book will see an October release -- a normal edition and a limited edition. Both feature details on 1,000 characters as well as the story of Marvel comics and a foreword by Stan Lee.
The Limited Edition comes in a deluxe boxed set that is individually numbered and features two signed prints, one of heroes, the other of villains, from Frank Cho.
The hardcover normal edition will retail for $40.00 while the box set deluxe edition will command $100.00.
