DC Comics has announced it will publish a two-issue comic book adaptation of the upcoming Snakes on a Plane feature film starring Samuel L. Jackson.  Both issues of the color series, cover-priced at $2.99, are scheduled to be released in August, to tie in to the theatrical release of the film, which has generated a great deal of advance buzz (see 'Snakes on a Plane!'). 

The comic will be written by popular action comics writer Chuck Dixon, with art by Gordon Purcell and covers by J.G. Jones (#1) and Jerome Moore (#2).  Snakes on a Plane #1 & #2 will also have photo covers.
