Geneon will release the first of six volumes of the anime series Ergo Proxy in November.  Two SKUs will be released on November 21st, the four-episode Volume 1 at $29.98, and the Special Edition Collectors Box, which includes the first disc, the box, and an extras disc with trailers and features at $39.98.

Ergo Proxy is directed by Shukou Murase, who directed Samurai Champloo and Witch Hunter Robin.  The screenplay is by Dai Sato, who scripted the hits Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. 

The ending theme, Paranoid Android, is by Radiohead. 

The series is set in a domed city where humans and robots coexist; a female detective is led to the unknown outside world.
