GAMA Trade Show will have two days of exhibit time instead of three in 2008, with longer hours each day than has been the case for the last few years.  Seminar time will be concentrated on Monday and Thursday.  This will undoubtedly be popular with exhibitors, who often rued the slow traffic on Thursday, the third day of exhibit hours, in past years.

The retail pricing structure has also been changed, with a $125 membership now including two badges, two buyer ribbons, and two meal tickets.  Additional badges will be available for $75, additional buyer ribbons for $15, and additional meal tickets for $250 each.

GAMA also released preliminary numbers for the 2007 show (see 'GAMA Trade Show Ends on Up Note'): over 400 stores and 50 distributors were represented at the show, and there was an increase in the total number of badges issued.
