Duncan Toys has announced the first WarStone Tournament Series, which will be held in 2010 and will include $50,000 in prize money.  $25,000 will be allocated to local and regional tournaments, with the other $25,000 going to the championship event, which will be held at GenCon in Indianapolis on August 5th, 2010.  Players will be invited to participate in the GenCon event based on points accumulated in local and regional events.  The first local tournaments will take place in February at a location and date to be announced.

Prizes for the tournament series will include laptop computers, game systems, Sony headsets, Warstone Booster Packs, and other accessories.

Tournament players will battle on Duncan’s revolutionary new Organized Play table top battle arena, which features four cloth side walls to contain the marbles on the battlefield during competition.  The WarStone game combines elements of card game play with a traditional marbles-like game in which the object is to knock other players’ marbles off the battlefield.

Phoenix Event
