The Upper Deck Company has decided to host its Fourth Annual World of Warcraft Trading Card Championships alongside a Darkmoon Faire and other public events at this year’s Gen Con Indy from August 5 through 8th at the Indianapolis Convention Center. GenCon Indy, the world’s largest hobby gaming convention, is a natural fit for the WoW TCG championships.

Last year’s World of Warcraft World Championship event, which attracted hundreds of participants from all over the globe, was held at the Austin, Texas Convention Center in October.  Billy Postlethwait of Winter Park, Florida, who was the winner of the WoW TCG event at the Darkmoon Faire in Columbus, Ohio, walked away with the top prize of $50,000.
